Weston Park 2017 - International Model Airshow

Weston Park was such a great laugh last year and it has been improved on this year! Arguably one of the UK’s biggest races of 2017, Weston Park is a British Championship Qualifier, a EuroCup Qualifier and FAI World Championship Qualifying event. 61 of the UK’s greatest take to the track to see who is crowned champion on what is a rare but insane heat wave. Temperatures of 28-30C meant it was very much out of the norm for us UK pilots, but we battled through it :D

I ended up taking 2nd place overall and am over the moon that I managed to place so well! Congratulations to FPVLee for 1st place and HarryFPV for 3rd place as well as every other competitor there, and of course to all of those who helped put the event on in the first place. It was a huge community effort backed by Rotor Racing which saw the event even happen, and boy did these guys put on a show. Fun fly, freestyle competitions, racing competitions and night flying - what more could we ask for? Thanks to EVERYONE who helped, took part, and came along for the ride! See you next year :))
