Field Fun - Freestyle Log #007
Posted on March 23, 2017 • 2 min read • 246 wordsThis is the 7th episode in my freestyle log / journey. I’ve been wanting to try KISS again for Freestyle as while I love RaceFlight One, I need to know if KISS feels smoother! So I went and did it! There’s a full review of the quad coming out soon, but this is on the DemonRC Fury frame, and all I’ve done is taken Leo’s pids from the Nox5 and my KISS rates from this time last year!
I have to admit it feels really smooth, I’ll be transplanting this whole setup into another Armattan Chameleon to compare identical setups, and from there I’ll decide a final Freestyle setup :) there’s some golden shots in this video (I think), but I’ve kept it as one take as it felt better! For me right now the KISS setup definitely feels smoother and feels easier to keep those smooth transitions, this was during 20mph winds and it just looks locked, you’d never know it was so windy!
Every time I watch the flight footage when I get back I notice so many places I could improve, but I take this knowledge and hopefully demonstrate that in the next video! For me keeping it all smooth is my next challenge.
